Job Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Coffee Shop Assistant, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create a welcoming atmosphere for every guest! Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to company standards
Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and process payments efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
Ensure food safety standards are followed at all times during food handling and preparation
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without sacrificing quality
Support team members with additional tasks like restocking supplies and maintaining equipment

Skills

Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards essential for maintaining a clean environment
Previous barista experience is highly desirable to ensure high-quality beverage preparation
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced setting helps deliver exceptional service
Ability to assist with food preparation tasks confidently and efficiently
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders accurately
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
Excellent communication skills to engage positively with customers and team members
