Join a dedicated and supportive team making a real difference to families across Conwy.
In this rewarding role, you will be part of a strong, supportive team, providing guidance and practical support to childcare providers and families within the Flying Start programme. You will play an important role in helping families access high-quality childcare and supporting children as they begin their early years journey.
You will be based in a Family centre alongside the Conwy Family Support Teams and will travel across Conwy County to provide support to families and childcare providers.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience creating caring, safe and stimulating environments for young children
- Is confident in supporting families as their child begins their childcare journey
- Understands the importance of high-quality play opportunities for pre-school children
- Has a good knowledge of child development and learning
- Can support and promote children’s speech, language and communication development
- Enjoys working in partnership with parents and carers to support children’s progress at home

The ability to lead activities for children and converse at ease with families and childcare providers through the medium of Welsh is essential for this post.
Appointment to this post will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
This role offers flexible working options for a work life balance. This can include adjusting your working day and hybrid working, ie a balance of office and home working.
