Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our Premier Toyota Team. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their vehicle service needs are met efficiently and effectively. This role involves managing customer relationships, upselling additional services, and providing expert advice to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, mechanical knowledge, and excellent communication abilities to thrive in a busy automotive environment.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and establish a professional rapport to understand their vehicle concerns and service requirements.
Schedule service appointments and manage the workflow to ensure timely completion of work.
Provide accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance, explaining technical issues in clear terms.
Upsell additional services or products that may benefit the customer’s vehicle, increasing workshop revenue.
Liaise with the workshop team to communicate customer needs and ensure work is completed to a high standard.
Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper documentation of all financial dealings.
Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, vehicle history, and service notes within the system.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle enquiries professionally.
Mechanical knowledge or experience within the motor trade is highly desirable to better understand vehicle issues and communicate effectively with technicians.
Proven ability in upselling services or products by identifying customer needs and presenting suitable options convincingly.
Competent in cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy and security during transactions.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple appointments and administrative tasks efficiently.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers. This role offers an engaging environment where your expertise can make a tangible difference in customer satisfaction while developing your career within the automotive industry.

Pay: From £26,500.00 per year
