Ottertots is an established provider of nursery childcare and we are looking for staff to join our expanding professional team.

We provide an environment that is safe where children are happy, feel relaxed and are supported to reach their full potential.

Ottertots is a large setting with an indoor soft play and lots of outdoor space.

A little bit about the role…

Build effective relationships and fully engage with children, parents and colleagues to deliver the best possible service and care
Learn how to create safe and stimulating environments in line with the EYFS
Learn how to observe, assess and plan to support the individual needs of children
Understand and implement safeguarding, health and safety and welfare policies

What skills & experience are desired

Keenness to work with children and deliver high quality childcare/early years education
Good, confident and honest communicator

· Most importantly to be a fantastic team player who goes the extra mile to support colleagues and families?

· Be able to ignite that spark that encourages children to be creative and curious?

Ability to establish good relationships with parents – demonstrating a welcoming and approachable persona
Good understanding of the policies and practices within a childcare setting
Knowledge of the EYFS and its practical application within a childcare setting
Demonstrates strong initiative and ability to think on their feet

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £22,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
