Full job description

Overview
We are seeking skilled Forklift Truck Operators to join our dynamic manufacturing team on the day and night shift. The ideal candidates will have experience operating forklifts in the manufacturing, processing or production environment. The roles involves the safe handling of processing materials and finished goods whilst operating to safe working practices, company standards and production schedules.

Working Patterns Available

2 openings on day shift and 2 openings on night shift

Shift pattern = 4 on / 4 off

Responsibilities

Operate forklift trucks to ensure safe handling of materials and finished goods.
Adhere to production plans and make necessary changes to meet the requirements of the product.
Carry out operator pre-use checks and maintenance and liaise with appropriate service engineers where relevant.
Conduct daily inspections of machinery, identifying any issues or areas for improvement.
Maintain accurate records of production output and equipment performance.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to machinery operation.
Ensure the warehouse is organised, maintaining an efficient workflow and safe working environment.
Adherence to company and regulatory policies, procedures and safe working methods.

Qualifications

Forklift Truck (B1) certification, with a minimum of 5 years experience.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting.
Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
