About the client:

Our client is a leading provider of specialist healthcare services, dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care in a professional, safe, and welcoming environment. With a strong reputation for excellence, they are committed to maintaining the highest standards across their facilities to ensure a positive experience for patients, visitors, and staff alike.

An opportunity has arisen for a Cleaning Operative to join the team, playing a key role in ensuring the site remains clean, hygienic, and presented to an exceptional standard. The successful candidate will help create a safe and comfortable environment by maintaining clinical and non-clinical areas in line with strict cleanliness and infection control procedures.

Hours of work:

11 hours per week, working Monday to Friday from 18:00 to 20:00, and Saturday from 17:00 to 18:00.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Cleaning and sanitising clinical and non-clinical areas to a high standard
Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and dusting throughout the site
Cleaning toilets, washrooms, and replenishing consumables
Emptying bins and disposing of waste in accordance with site procedures
Cleaning staff areas, offices, reception areas, and communal spaces
Ensuring all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly
Following health and safety, COSHH, and infection control procedures at all times
Reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, or stock shortages to management
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the facility
Providing a professional and reliable cleaning service to support patients, visitors, and staff

Requirements:

Previous cleaning experience is desirable, although full training will be provided.
Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Reliable, punctual and able to manage workload effectively within allocated timescales.
Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual cleaning duties, including floor polishing and machine operation.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to providing a clean, safe and welcoming environment for visitors and staff.
