Job Title: Steel Sheet Gas Cutter
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking operator to join our team. This is a fast-paced role in a working yard, offering an immediate start for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cutting steel sheets to specification using gas cutting equipment.
- Safely handling and moving steel materials.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Carrying out quality checks on finished work.
- Working efficiently with ability to be dynamic and respond to current production deadlines.
Requirements:
- Previous experience with gas cutting is desirable.
- Forklift Truck (FLT) experience or a valid FLT licence is desirable.
- Experience working in a steel, manufacturing, or industrial environment is an advantage.
- Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to health and safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
