Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salon Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our salon operations, ensuring an exceptional experience for our clients. You will assist with various tasks, including customer service, front desk duties, and providing support to stylists and beauticians. This position is perfect for individuals looking to develop their skills in the beauty industry while contributing to a vibrant salon environment.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service by greeting clients warmly and ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit.
Assist stylists with various tasks, including preparing tools and products for treatments such as hair styling,

Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and handling client inquiries.
Support upselling of products and services to enhance client satisfaction and salon profitability.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the salon space to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
Participate in mentoring new staff members and sharing knowledge of salon procedures and best practices.
Assist with inventory management and store management tasks as required.

Requirements

Previous experience in a salon or beauty environment is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a friendly and professional attitude at all times.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A proactive approach to learning new techniques and services offered within the salon.
