Overview
We are seeking a talented and personable Bartender and Mixologist to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves crafting innovative cocktails, providing exceptional customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in a busy restaurant or bar environment is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity behind the bar while ensuring guests enjoy memorable experiences.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, beverages, and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with recipes and customer preferences
Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, offering recommendations and ensuring excellent service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately
Restock bar supplies and monitor stock levels to ensure availability of ingredients and beverages
Collaborate with team members to deliver smooth service during busy periods
Keep up-to-date with current cocktail trends and continuously develop new drink recipes

Experience

Proven experience as a bartender or mixologist in a fast-paced hospitality environment is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation, food safety regulations, and responsible serving practices
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders efficiently
Experience in customer service roles within restaurants or bars is advantageous
Demonstrated time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy shifts
