Kixx is a fun, inclusive, and engaging football programme designed to inspire children through sport. We focus on developing confidence, teamwork, coordination, and life skills in a positive and energetic environment.
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Lead Coach to deliver high-quality Kixx sessions for children on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings. The successful candidate will be passionate about working with children, able to lead sessions independently, and committed to creating a safe, enjoyable, and developmental experience for every child.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Kixx football sessions in line with the Kixx coaching philosophy.
- Lead groups of children of varying ages and abilities.
- Create a positive, fun, and inclusive learning environment.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants at all times.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and fellow coaches.
- Set up and pack away equipment before and after sessions.
- Maintain accurate attendance records where required.
- Act as a positive role model, demonstrating professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Support the growth and retention of participants through excellent session delivery.
Requirements
Essential:
- Experience working with children in a coaching, teaching, sports, or activity-based environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Passion for child development through sport.
- Ability to work independently and lead sessions confidently.
- Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport.
Desirable:
- FA Coaching Qualification (Level 1 / Introduction to Coaching Football or above).
- Safeguarding Children Certificate.
- Emergency First Aid Qualification.
- Previous experience coaching football or children's activities.

Working Hours Example:
- Friday: 5:00pm – 7:00pm
- Saturday: 9:30am - 12:00pm
- Sunday: 9:00am - 13:00pm
Pay: £20.00 per hour
