About Teach Vocation
Teach Vocation is an independent training provider delivering funded adult skills programmes built around real employment outcomes. We work directly with employers across the East Midlands to understand their recruitment needs, design training around those needs, and place people straight into guaranteed interviews. Our employer partners include businesses in security, construction, green skills, and the visitor economy — from national facilities management companies and stadium operations to local housebuilders and hospitality businesses. When our programmes work, people get jobs. That is what this role is about.
The Role
This is not a passive account management role. It is a proactive, relationship-led position that sits at the heart of how our programmes deliver results. You will work consultatively with employers to understand what skills gaps they face, what roles they are trying to fill, and how our training can close that gap — finishing with a guaranteed interview for every completer.
The best way to describe it: you are connecting employers who need to recruit with adults who are trained and ready to work. You will have conversations with employers about their recruitment challenges — whether that is finding people who understand how to manage crowds at a sporting event, workers ready to go on site from day one with the right cards and qualifications, or customer-facing staff who understand the environment they are walking into. You then make sure our training reflects exactly what those employers need, so every learner arrives at interview prepared and relevant.
This role would suit someone from agency recruitment, internal talent acquisition, employer engagement, or outbound business development who is comfortable picking up the phone, building relationships with decision-makers, and turning those conversations into guaranteed outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

- Build and manage a live pipeline of employer contacts, vacancy opportunities, and guaranteed interview commitments
- Work consultatively with employers to understand live recruitment needs and align learner cohorts to real vacancies
- Gather employer feedback on the skills and behaviours they need so that programme content stays current and relevant

- Support course planning by providing vacancy data and labour market insight to the delivery team
- Maintain accurate records of employer contacts, vacancies, and outcomes to audit-ready standard
What We're Looking For

- Strong pipeline management and follow-up discipline
- Knowledge of funded training, employability, or skills provision is desirable but not essential — strong recruiters from any sector will be considered
- Highly organised, resilient, and results-focused, with the confidence to handle objections and open doors
- Full driving licence and car, willing to travel locally and work flexibly
