Mechanic / Vehicle Technician

MC Autos Barrow Ltd – Barrow-in-Furness

Salary: Competitive – based on experience
Hours: Full Time
Start Date: Immediate Start Available

MC Autos is one of the fastest-growing independent garages in the area and we're looking for an experienced Mechanic / Vehicle Technician to join our expanding team.

Working from our large, modern workshop, you'll have access to top-of-the-range equipment, diagnostic tools, tyre equipment, wheel alignment systems, air conditioning machines and MOT facilities.

What you'll be doing:

Servicing and maintenance of cars and light commercial vehicles
Diagnostics and fault finding
Clutches, timing belts, brakes and suspension repairs
Vehicle inspections and health checks
Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales

What we're looking for:

Previous experience as a Mechanic or Vehicle Technician
Full UK Driving Licence
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good attention to detail
MOT Tester qualification preferred but not essential
