About D.O.G

D.O.G is a friendly and growing dog-grooming business based in Northwich. Alongside grooming, we are introducing dog walking and daily dog check-in services.I am looking for a creative and reliable Freelance Social Media & Marketing Assistant to help promote the business, maintain our online presence and attract new clients. The monthly package will include:

One 30-minute planning meeting each month, held online or in Northwich

Creating four branded social-media posts per month

Writing engaging captions for Facebook and Instagram

Scheduling the agreed content

Helping to promote our grooming, dog-walking and check-in services

Providing a short monthly update on content performance

Suggesting ideas for promotions, campaigns and business growth

Commission:

In addition to the £55 monthly payment, you will receive £5 commission for every new client generated through your marketing who completes and pays for their first appointment.A simple system will be used to record where new clients heard about D.O.G. Full commission terms will be agreed before the role begins.

About you:

Creative and confident in producing social-media content

Familiar with Facebook, Instagram and Canva or similar design software

Reliable and able to meet agreed deadlines

Comfortable contributing ideas during planning meetings

Able to follow D.O.G’s existing brandingInterested in marketing, content creation and small-business growth

Previous professional experience is not essential, so this opportunity may suit a marketing student, recent graduate or someone looking to build their portfolio.

Examples of previous content or designs would be helpful.

Freelance Arrangement:

This is a freelance, self-employed opportunity rather than an hourly employed position. You will manage your own working time and decide how to complete the agreed monthly package using your own equipment. You will be responsible for invoicing D.O.G and managing your own tax obligations. The arrangement will begin with a fully paid one-month trial. After this, both parties can decide whether to continue on a monthly basis.
