Skilled Fabricator / Welder (TIG & MIG)

About Us
Morfabrication is a growing, family-run metal fabrication company based in Washington. We specialise in bespoke metalwork, delivering high-quality, functional, and decorative products across a range of industries. Due to increased workload and continued company growth, we are looking to expand our team.
The Role
We are seeking a versatile and experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will be confident working independently from technical drawings and producing high-quality finished work to exacting standards.
A trade test will form part of the interview process.
Key Responsibilities
- TIG and MIG welding to a high standard
- Fabricating mild steel round tube joints (TIG essential)
- Working from engineering drawings independently
- Finishing stainless steel to brushed and polished standards
- General fabrication duties within a workshop environment
Desirable (Not Essential) Skills
- Stainless steel fabrication experience
- Sheet metal fabrication
- Press brake operation
- Milling machine experience
- On-site installation experience
- CSCS card (or equivalent)
Training can be provided for the right candidate in certain areas.
Pay & Benefits
- £19.00–£20.00 per hour (depending on experience and skillset)
- £25.00 per hour overtime rate
- £30.00 per hour weekend rate (Saturday & Sunday)
- 40-hour permanent contract

Working Hours
Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00
Friday: 07:00 – 13:00
