Senior Sous Chef – The Liverpool Arms
Salary: Up to £38,000 per year (depending on experience)
Accommodation Available (if required)

The Liverpool Arms is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our passionate kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious chef who takes pride in producing high-quality food, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to take the next step in their career.

Working closely with the Head Chef, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, maintaining exceptional food standards, supporting the team, and helping to drive creativity and consistency across our menus.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Head Chef in the daily management of the kitchen.
Lead and motivate the kitchen team during service.
Prepare and deliver high-quality dishes to a consistently high standard.
Assist with menu development and seasonal specials.
Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
Manage stock, ordering, and minimise food waste.
Train and develop junior members of the team.
Take responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a quality restaurant, pub, or hotel.
Strong leadership and organisational skills.
A genuine passion for fresh, seasonal food.
Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen.
Excellent knowledge of food safety and kitchen management.
A positive attitude and a team-focused approach.
