Are you looking for a change, but worried you will become ‘de-skilled’ in a Community Hospital?

Think again! Here at St Marks Hospital , Maidenhead , we have an inpatient ward, soon to become two wards, with a brand new modern ward set to open this year. The service delivers car e for adults with a wide variety medical and post-surgical conditions. Our patient cohort is referred from both acute hospital and community settings. Without immediate access to acute investigations, we use multiple ‘Point of Care Testing’ systems to support the care of our patients .

We are looking for experienced band 6 nurse to support and lead our staff and patients alike. To join o ur diverse range of staff who are skilled in appropriate management of patients , supporting them to remain in the community setting, whilst also escalating as appropriate to ensure their safety. We are looking for an experienced nurse to join our growing team and to lead and provide this continued level of care to our patients.

BHFT actively encourages the development of our staff, and as a result our team of RNs have the opportunity to follow the career path suitable to them . Unfortunately, we are unable to recruit overseas applicants who require relocati on or OSCE for NMC registration thought this post .

We are looking for nurses that are flexible and can cover shifts over a 24 hour , 7 day a week service.

Responsible for the assessment of care needs, development and implementation of patient centered care. Promoting independence and safe discharge home .

Lead in our Nurse led unit, especially during out of hours shifts.

Shift work and shift management, working with junior members of staff in all aspects of patient care, participating in training and support.

Qualified nurse with at least 2 years experience .
