A bit about the role:
Based in Cookstown, the Group Accountant role reports to the Group Head of Finance to support our growing Group of companies. You will balance core financial reporting with day-to-day operations, taking care of month-end consolidations, bank covenants, and risk tracking. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and Oversee Management Accounts for multiple group companies

Execute multiple complex consolidations at group level

Prepare comprehensive monthly financial information for Group Board reporting

Calculate and provide actionable Key Performance Indicators to senior management

Monitor cash flow and optimize working capital

Ensure ongoing visibility and strict compliance with bank covenants

Evaluate and actively manage foreign exchange (FX) risk exposure
-
Monitor, review, and propose efficiency improvements for internal accounting procedures

Identify and categorize group-wide expenditure
-
Assist with group-wide budgeting and forecasting processes

Support future strategic planning and M&A work as required

Coordinate Annual Audit processes across all individual businesses, including responsibility for keystone Group Companies

Manage R&D and Patent Box deadlines alongside external advisors

Coordinate grant funding opportunities with external advisors alongside Keystone Group Companies

Partner with Credit Control to optimize aging debt reporting
-
Provide ad-hoc financial information, including cost analysis to directors and other senior managers within the companies/group as required

Monitor and review internal accounting procedures and policies and propose improvements to increase efficiency.
Skills & Requirements

ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified

Part-qualified candidates will be considered with an option to advance studies
