Join our vibrant team as a Cafe Assistant/Barista and become the heart of a lively, welcoming environment! In this role, you'll craft delicious beverages, serve customers with enthusiasm, and ensure every guest has a memorable experience. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, with precision and care
Greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, and deliver excellent service to ensure satisfaction
Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks to complement beverage offerings
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including counters, tables, and equipment
Follow food safety protocols diligently to uphold hygiene standards and ensure safe food handling practices
Manage cash register operations accurately, including handling transactions and giving correct change
Support stock replenishment by monitoring inventory levels and restocking supplies as needed

Requirements

Prior experience as a Barista or in a customer-facing food service role is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is key!
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for hygiene and sanitation
Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for cash handling and inventory management
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods effectively
Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers in a friendly, professional manner
Capable of standing for extended periods while maintaining energy and focus throughout shifts
A proactive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
