Full job description

We are looking for an exceptional Early Years Educator to come and join our friendly team in our beautiful Nursery. We value and reward our staff for the hard work and commitment they bring to the team. We understand the challenges of working in Early Years and fully support our staff to enable them to give our children the best possible start in life.

We have built a strong team of qualified practitioners and we are keen to add to this by finding that one special person who will help the children to learn and grow.

We are supported by a fantastic Early Years Teacher and the majority of our staff hold L3 qualifications.

If you are looking for a calm, stable, supportive nursery where you will be truly valued then you have found the perfect place.

Previous room leader experience would be beneficial as you will be required to support the team and lead a room on occasion.

At Play2Day Nursery, we believe children should learn and develop through play and therefore every day is different. One day you might be the captain of a pirate ship, the next day you could be sipping pretend tea and eating make-believe biscuits. You could be working with our Darling Ducks (0-2 years) or our Friendly Foxes (3-4 years), truly no two days are the same.

We are focused on delivering excellent standards of care and early years education for local families.

Essential requirements for this role:

· A warm, smiling face that can make every child feel special

· Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check

· Willing to undertake training relevant to childcare (e.g. first aid, safeguarding and basic food hygiene)

· A professional and responsible attitude whilst at work

· A great team player

· The confidence to sing in front of a crowd of children (not necessarily in tune)

If you feel you would fit perfectly within our friendly team we would love to hear from you. Level 3 Childcare essential. SENCO qualification desirable but full training will be given. Minimum 2 years experience. This is a full time role however we can offer this over 4 or 5 days.
