Marketing & Business Development Coordinator

Corbridge, Northumberland
Full Time | Maternity Cover (Approx. 15 Months)

Looking for a role where you can develop skills in marketing, business development, social media, events, reporting and financial services?

Emerald Associates is a Financial Advice firm seeking an organised, proactive and enthusiastic Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to support our growing team of financial advisers. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate, early-career marketer, business development professional, administrator or career changer looking to gain hands-on experience in a varied and rewarding role.

The Role

You'll play a key role in supporting adviser growth and client acquisition activities across the business.

Responsibilities include:

Conducting monthly adviser review meetings to discuss business development activity, targets and support requirements
Coordinating social media content and marketing activity
Organising adviser events, networking opportunities and training sessions
Building relationships with lead generation providers and external partners
Tracking lead performance, conversion rates and business development outcomes
Producing Excel reports, dashboards and management information
Supporting advisers with marketing and business development initiatives
Assisting with training and development coordination across the business

About You

We're open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds. You may already have experience in marketing, administration, business development, sales support, client services or financial services, or be looking to build a career in these areas.

You'll ideally have:

Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Confidence managing multiple tasks and deadlines
Strong attention to detail
A positive and proactive approach
Experience using social media platforms in a professional or business setting
