Metal Finisher Polisher / Fettler – Marine Industry

Job Title: Polisher / Fettler.

Location: Holton Heath, Poole
Job Type: Full-time

The role.

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Metal Finisher - Polisher / Fettler to join our growing workshop team. You'll work across unique marine projects — from fabricated assemblies and deck fittings to precision structural components — where the standard of finish truly matters.

Bringing fabricated assemblies to a finish that meets engineering tolerances and the exacting aesthetic standards of the marine sector.
Super mirror Polishing st/st fabrications & Shaping and crafting aluminium weld profiles to specification through the use of a variety of hand held tools.
Working with marine-grade aluminium & stainless steel and components throughout.
Collaborating closely with the workshop team to ensure quality standards are met at every stage.
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and taking ownership of your own quality control.
Completing all work safely, efficiently, and to the required specification.

What we're looking for.

Proven hands-on experience as a Metal Finisher to include Polishing marine grade stainless steel and Fettlng the profile of aluminium welds, this is essential.
Solid working knowledge of aluminium grinding / Fettling to include super mirror polishing stainless steel finishing techniques.
Sharp attention to detail and a genuine pride in producing high-quality work.
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
Friendly calm can do attitude with clear comuniucation skills essential.

Desirable.

Previous experience in this field of expertise with in marine industry or a similarly precision-focused environment.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
Track record of meeting or exceeding production targets.
