We are seeking a motivated and detail‑focused Bookkeeper to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong bookkeeping experience who is looking to develop their career and take on more responsibility within a supportive business.
This full-time, office-based role involves a wide range of bookkeeping, accounts, and client support tasks, including VAT returns, bank reconciliations, ledger management, and working with cloud accounting software QuickBooks.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and financial records
- Process purchase invoices and sales invoices
- Complete bank and credit card reconciliations
- Manage Sales and Purchase Ledgers
- Prepare and support with VAT and CIS returns
- Produce invoices and process payments for clients
- Assist with monthly management accounts
- Communicate with suppliers to request records and resolve bookkeeping queries
- General office and reception duties, including answering calls and handling emails
Requirements
- 2–3 years of bookkeeping experience
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks or Xero
- Good understanding of bookkeeping principles
- AAT Level 2–3 preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
