Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Private Client Paralegal to join our legal team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support high-net-worth individuals with their estate planning, wills, trusts, and probate matters. The successful candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in legal and office software. The position is paid and ideal for candidates looking to develop their legal career within a reputable firm with the additional potential of training contract .

Duties

Assist solicitors with preparing legal documents related to estate planning, wills, trusts, and probate cases
Conduct legal research and gather relevant documentation from clients and third parties
Manage case files efficiently, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date
Draft correspondence, reports, and legal summaries using Microsoft Word
Organise client meetings and appointments using Microsoft Outlook
Maintain detailed records of case progress and client communications
Liaise effectively with clients, providing updates and gathering necessary information in a professional manner
Support the team with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management using Microsoft Excel
Ensure compliance with confidentiality and data protection regulations at all times

Skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
Effective time management to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Good IT skills with the ability to adapt to new software or systems quickly
Demonstrated attention to detail in document preparation and case management
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a professional setting
