Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Gas Engineer/Plumber to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas and plumbing systems across a variety of commercial and residential settings. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable gas and water supply systems, contributing to the comfort and safety of our clients. Responsibilities

Install, inspect, repair, and maintain gas appliances, boilers, and piping systems in compliance with safety regulations and standards
Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing fixtures, water supply lines, and drainage systems to ensure optimal operation
Diagnose issues accurately using mechanical knowledge and technical skills, then execute effective solutions using hand tools and power tools
Perform pipe repairs or system modifications, ensuring strong and durable joints
Use basic math skills to measure, calculate materials needed, and ensure precise installation or repair work
Handle heavy lifting safely when transporting equipment or materials to job sites while following proper safety protocols

Requirements

Proven experience as a Gas Engineer or Plumber with a solid understanding of plumbing systems and gas safety standards
Proficiency in soldering techniques, use of hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical equipment
Strong mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during installation or repair tasks
Valid driver’s license
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues promptly
