Accounts & Finance Administrator

Full Time | Permanent | Office Based

Accounts experience? Looking for a role where you'll be trusted, supported and given the opportunity to develop?

We're looking for an organised and detail-focused Accounts & Finance Administrator to join our friendly team at Penta ESP.

This is a varied role covering accounts payable, bank reconciliations, credit control and general finance administration. If you enjoy working with numbers, following processes and building positive working relationships, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role

You'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of our finance function, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

Processing supplier invoices
Matching purchase orders, delivery notes and invoices
Preparing supplier payment runs
Reconciling supplier statements
Managing supplier queries

Bank Reconciliations

Performing regular bank reconciliations
Investigating and resolving discrepancies
Maintaining accurate financial records

Credit Control

Monitoring customer accounts and outstanding balances
Chasing overdue payments by phone and email
Allocating incoming payments and reconciling accounts
Maintaining aged debtor reports

General Finance Support

Assisting with month-end processes
Maintaining financial records and documentation
Supporting audits and reporting requirements
Providing administrative support to the finance team

About You

You'll have:

Previous experience in a finance, accounts or bookkeeping role
Experience of accounts payable, reconciliations and/or credit control
Good Excel and accounting system skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
A proactive and reliable approach to work
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

You'll enjoy working in a structured environment, take pride in producing accurate work and be someone colleagues can depend on.
