Dandy's (Chester) Limited is looking for an experienced 360 Excavator Operator to join our busy recycling, screening and manufacturing operation based in Chester.
This is a hands-on role operating a brand new Hyundai HX360A 36-tonne excavator within a fast-paced yard environment. You'll play a key role in feeding screening and processing equipment, loading vehicles, managing stockpiles and supporting the day-to-day operation of the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a brand new Hyundai HX360A excavator safely and efficiently.
- Feed screening and processing equipment.
- Load lorries and manage stockpiles.
- Carry out daily machine inspections and basic maintenance.
- Support general yard operations when required.
- Work closely with the yard and production teams.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health and safety.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience operating 360 excavators in a commercial environment.
- Valid CPCS, NPORS or equivalent 360 Excavator qualification.
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious.
- Own transport to and from work.
Desirable
- Experience within recycling, aggregates, waste management, quarrying or similar industries.
- Experience operating additional mobile plant machinery such as loading shovels or telehandlers.

Working Hours
- Five days per week, on a rota that includes regular weekend working.
- 8:00am – 5:00pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.
