Full job description

Sales Assistant (hourly rate - £12.75 per hour)

We invite applications from those looking for a customer-facing role, greeting the public with a friendly smile and positive approach. Our Sales Assistants are there to support shoppers and deliver excellent customer service at all times. Your responsibilities include:

· Operating till equipment

· Operating other services equipment such as utilities payments and lottery machines

· Handling cash

· Food preparation and cooking

· Replenishing stock and putting away deliveries

· Supporting the store management, supervisors and other colleagues

· Maintaining a clean and tidy store at all times

**Please note that the role will involve some cooking and food handling, with full training provided**

This position is for weekend work (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and will include morning and evening shifts. Due to Working Time Regulations and the sale of restricted products, all applicants must be over the age of 18.
