Have you honed your tool skills over the years, do you love to build things with mm precision, do you take things apart to see how they work, do you see a problem as a challenge rather than a barrier - then you may be the person we are looking for!
Dale Studios are a professional and customer-centric Design, Print and Installation studio based in central Leicester. We have steadily grown over 40+ years to become a well-oiled team of Designers, Project managers and Technicians that supply large format creative print and manufacture to some of the biggest names in retail - every day at Dale Studios is varied and comes with a fresh challenge to be tackled.
Due to ongoing growth we are looking for a Prototyping and Development Technician to strengthen our studio/production team to assist both the studio and production departments - We are a friendly, capable and welcoming team of 30+ that aren't afraid to take on the projects that others have turned down.
This role will suit somebody who has working knowledge of technical drawings/CAD and can take a concept and develop into a solid working solution - this may involve interpreting the visual/sketch/idea or working though the development stage before prototyping.
A hands on approach to problem solving and great workshop skills.
The days are fast paced and varied, the role will be weighted more towards hands on workshop/build/assembly - one day you may be cutting, drilling and assembly and the next can be stitching, painting and soldering wires - then working up technical drawings to assist the designers.
