Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tyre Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and replacing tyres on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for automotive maintenance and customer service to develop their skills within a professional environment.

Duties

Remove and replace tyres using appropriate hand and power tools with precision and care
Inspect tyres for damage, wear, and punctures, providing recommendations for repairs or replacements
Balance tyres to ensure smooth vehicle operation
Perform routine maintenance on tyre fitting equipment and tools
Assist customers by providing expert advice on tyre selection and maintenance needs
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
Conduct tyre pressure checks and ensure proper inflation levels are maintained
Document all work carried out accurately in accordance with company procedures

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in tyre fitting or automotive maintenance preferred
Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and tyre levers
Experience with power tools used in tyre fitting is advantageous
Ability to perform maintenance tasks on equipment and tools as needed
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling of tyres and equipment
Attention to detail to ensure safety standards are met during all procedures
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality service

Pay: £24,420.00-£39,145.95 per year
