Full job description

Dental Specialists MK is a private specialist dental practice offering Dental Implants, Periodontics (Gum Treatment), Endodontics, Oral Surgery and Orthodontics (Braces).

We are looking for a friendly and professional Dental Receptionist / Administrator to join our team. We welcome applications from individuals with previous experience in customer service, reception or administration. Previous dental experience is an advantage but is not essential, as full training will be provided.

The Candidate

As a Dental Receptionist, you will be an excellent communicator who genuinely enjoys providing outstanding customer service. You will be the first point of contact for our patients, both in person and over the telephone, helping to ensure they receive a warm, welcoming and professional experience.

You will be:

Friendly, approachable and professional.
Highly motivated, organised and reliable.
Flexible and able to work well as part of a team.
Confident using computers and managing administrative tasks.
Experienced in reception, administration or customer service (preferred).

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

Promoting a professional image of the practice and being knowledgeable about the specialist services we provide.
Welcoming patients and helping them feel comfortable throughout their visit.
Answering telephone calls in a friendly, helpful and courteous manner.
Scheduling and managing patient appointments.
Taking payments for treatments and other items.
Completing a variety of administrative duties to support the smooth running of the practice.

Full training will be provided.

Hours

Minimum 32 hours per week working 9am until 6pm
The successful candidate must be flexible with their working hours and be available to provide holiday and absence cover when required.

Salary

Pay: From £12.71 per hour

Work Location: In person
