Full job description

About the role

Janus Security Services is seeking professional, assertive, and customer-focused Door Supervisors to work across venues on the south coast and at events throughout the UK. Our SIA-licensed officers play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of guests, staff, and premises.

Key responsibilities

Manage crowds and queues to maintain order and prevent overcrowding near roads and busy areas
Enforce venue dress codes and verify ID and admission tickets on entry
Patrol inside and outside premises, checking security of access and egress routes
Monitor guest behaviour and handle conflict calmly and professionally
Physically intervene and escort individuals from the venue where necessary
Respond effectively to emergencies as they arise
Liaise with police, first aiders, and management during incidents

Requirements

SIA Door Supervisor licence — must be an in-date physical licence (required)

DBS check — enhanced DBS preferred; standard DBS accepted

First Aid at Work certificate

1 year of customer service experience (preferred)

SIA Door Supervisor License (Must be an in-date physical license)
DBS Check (Enhanced DBS is preferred but Standard DBS is sufficient)
First Aid at Work certificate
