Business Operations Associate (Graduate & Internship Opportunity)
Location: Chichester, West Sussex (office-based)
Type: Full-time, permanent or internship opportunity
Want to learn how a technology company scales?
Most graduate roles place you in a single department.
This role doesn't.
At sees.ai, you'll work across recruitment, operations, finance, people, projects, and business improvement initiatives, gaining first-hand experience of how a high-growth technology company operates and scales.
We're looking for ambitious, organised, and proactive individuals who are excited by the idea of solving problems, taking ownership, and making a genuine impact from day one.
Whether you're a recent graduate, looking for an internship, or have a year or two of professional experience, this role offers a unique opportunity to accelerate your career while helping shape one of the UK's most exciting deep-tech companies.
About sees.ai
sees.ai is building the operating system for autonomous drone operations, enabling advanced drones to be deployed safely and remotely in support of critical national infrastructure.
Our technology is already delivering real-world impact, and we're now focused on scaling that impact responsibly and effectively.
You'll join a talented, ambitious team working at the forefront of autonomous aviation technology, solving complex challenges that matter.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, you'll help keep the business running smoothly while identifying opportunities to improve how we operate as we grow.
You'll work across multiple functions, supporting projects and initiatives that touch every part of the organisation. One day you might be coordinating recruitment activity, the next helping improve internal processes, supporting onboarding, analysing operational data, or driving forward an important company-wide project.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants broad exposure, enjoys variety, and is excited by the challenge of helping build a growing business.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll help support and improve the operational backbone of the company, including:
- Supporting projects across recruitment, onboarding, people operations, finance, training, and business operations
- Coordinating activities across teams to ensure priorities progress and deadlines are met
- Improving systems, processes, and ways of working to help the business scale effectively
- Supporting hiring activity, candidate coordination, and employee onboarding
- Tracking projects and helping maintain visibility across important business initiatives
- Assisting with office operations and creating a positive employee experience
- Solving day-to-day operational challenges and helping remove barriers to progress
- Taking ownership of initiatives and driving them through to completion
- Working closely with colleagues across the business to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Who We're Looking For
We're far more interested in potential, attitude, and capability than a specific career background.
You may be:
- A recent graduate
- A student looking for an internship or placement year
- An early-career professional with up to two years' experience
- Someone looking for a broad business role rather than a specialist pathway
We're looking for people who are:
- Highly organised and detail-oriented
- Curious and eager to learn
- Comfortable taking initiative and ownership
- Strong communicators who enjoy working with people
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Naturally proactive and solutions-focused
- Interested in technology, innovation, startups, or business operations
- Comfortable learning new systems and technologies quickly
Experience gained through internships, part-time work, university projects, student societies, entrepreneurship, volunteering, sport, or leadership activities will all be valued.
