Full job description

Are you an experienced compliance leader motivated by purpose as well as impact and teamwork?

We're recruiting for a commercially minded and strategically focussed Corporate Compliance Manager to join our Secretariat and lead our Compliance and Governance team. This role is at the heart of assurance and compliance reporting to the University General Counsel and University Secretary with accountability for the leading, continually enhancing and embedding risk, assurance and compliance framework across our growing, values led University. The role provides independent oversight and challenge, ensuring that principles, emerging risks and compliance are clearly understood and managed, enabling confident and informed decision making across the University Group.

The Compliance team sits with the Secretariat. The Corporate Compliance Manager will lead a small team on the University’s Corporate Risk Management, Internal Audit, Welsh Language Standards, insurance and general compliance.
