Summary
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Head Baker to join our team at our central bakery facility in Moreton in Marsh. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Bakery with production and bakery management with our team of bakers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a wide range of breads according to established recipes while working to improve and develop new ones
- Ensure all food safety standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain high-quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and assist in ordering supplies as needed
- Stay updated on baking trends and techniques to continuously improve product offerings
Requirements
- Proven experience as a senior baker or in a similar role within the field.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Passion for baking and creating high-quality products that delight customers.

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift (5 days weekly). Night shift, with two 15 min breaks
- 2 days off per week, as consecutively as we can manage for your optimised rest
- Weekend availability required. Final set days to be discussed on application.
