Overview

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Powder Coater and play a vital role in the finishing process of metal components. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for applying high-quality powder coating finishes that enhance durability and appearance. Responsibilities

Prepare metal parts for coating by cleaning, masking, and sanding as needed to ensure optimal adhesion.
Operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns, booths, and curing ovens, following safety protocols.
Apply powder coatings evenly using hand tools and power tools to achieve a smooth, high-quality finish.
Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies, making adjustments or rework as necessary.
Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient workflow.
Assist with fabrication, assembly, or other related tasks to support production goals when required.
Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment during operations.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment confidently.
Experience with fabrication processes, assembly, and construction painting techniques.
Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.
Warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding inventory handling and material movement.
Familiarity with the use of welding tools and techniques to support finishing processes.
Ability to work with construction painting methods and understand surface preparation standards.
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes on coated products.
