Job Description
Here is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and passionate Registered Care Manager to take control of their career and help grow the organisation within the Domiciliary Care industry in our region.
The Domiciliary Care Manager must have:
- experience within domiciliary care as a Registered Manager with a CQC Knowledge
- Relevant qualifications, skills, and experience within the Care industry
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalence
- A good network in or around Cambridgeshire
The key responsibilities of Registered Care Manager include:
. Overall management of the business
· . Ensure the Company's activity is fully compliant with the Health & Social Care Act and conforms in all respects with the standards and requirements of CQC & any Local Authority with which the Company is contracted with
· Generating and developing new business opportunities and the growth of the company, exploring new potential areas of growth and expansion, networking in the local community to raise brand awareness and relationship building.
· Ensuring a safe service is delivered to our clients.
· Recruitment and training of an efficient team of Carers
. Budgetary responsibility for the branch
. Prepare and deliver detailed reports on the business to senior management and the Company Directors
. Liaise with Service Users to ensure their ongoing care needs are being properly met
. Manage & supervise staff performance plans, including formal annual staff appraisals, regular supervisory meetings & spot checks
. Be able to Liase with other Healthcare professionals on behalf of clients
.Work closely with the Deputy Care Manager to ensure sufficient staff are available to cover clients' needs and in-line with their absence and holiday policy.
. Maintain GDPR processes to the highest standards across the business
. Ensure the Company's quality assurance procedures are adhered to & maintained
. Engaging with new customers and their families to ensure that the care package on offer meets their every need and that the service they receive is of the highest quality
Experience and skills
· Excellent communication skills. Experience of building positive working relationships with people who use services and their families, staff and other health and social care professionals.
· Experience of managing and developing an effective staff team including recruitment, training, supporting, and supervising staff.
· Excellent IT Skills.
· Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service is formally known as the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Disclosure.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
