Warehouse Operative / Multi-Drop Delivery Driver

British & International Tyre Supplies (BITS)

Location: Cottenham, Cambridge
Hours: 39.5 hours per week

About the Role

British & International Tyre Supplies (BITS) are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative / Multi-Drop Delivery Driver to join our team at our Cottenham, Cambridge depot.

This is a varied role combining warehouse duties with the delivery of tyres and associated products to our customer base. The successful candidate will be organised, physically fit, safety-conscious and able to work well as part of a team.

A clean driving licence is preferred but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

Picking and loading tyres and associated products accurately in accordance with picking notes.
Loading the delivery vehicle safely and securely.
Unloading deliveries in a safe and responsible manner.
Delivering tyres and associated products to our customer base.
Completing multi-drop deliveries in a professional and timely manner.
Providing a friendly and professional service to customers.
Ensuring all delivery paperwork is completed accurately and legibly.
Checking goods and paperwork to ensure deliveries are correct.
Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe warehouse and working environment.
Following all company health and safety procedures.
Carrying out any other activities and tasks as reasonably determined by your Line Manager.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

Be reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Be physically capable of handling and moving tyres and other products.
Have good attention to detail.
Be comfortable working in a busy warehouse and delivery environment.
Have good communication and customer service skills.
Have a clean driving licence – preferred but not essential.
Be flexible and willing to work 1 in 4 Saturday mornings.

Previous warehouse, delivery or tyre industry experience would be advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
