Job Title: Traveling Fire Stopper / Passive Fire Protection Operative
Location: Nationwide (UK) – Based from HU5, Hull, with frequent travel and staying away required.

Job Type: Full-Time

The Role
We are looking for a reliable, experienced Fire Stopper to join our growing team. You will be responsible for installing and maintaining passive fire protection systems across various commercial, residential, and public sector sites. A core part of this role requires willingness to travel and stay away from home during the working week.

Key Responsibilities:

Install fire-rated batt, mastic, intumescent sealants, fire collars, and wraps.
Install cavity barriers and penetration seals to walls, floors, and ceilings.
Read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturer guidelines.
Accurately document works using digital apps or logging systems with photographic evidence.
Adhere to strict health & safety standards and BM TRADA certification requirements.

What We Provide:

Accommodation: All hotels and lodgings fully paid for or arranged.
Travel: Paid travel time or company vehicle/fuel card options provided.
Development: Ongoing training for latest products and software systems.

Essential Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years proven experience in fire stopping.
Valid Blue CSCS Card (NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection preferred).
Valid UK Driving License.
Happy to travel and work away from home Monday through Friday.
Must have your own standard tools (SDS drill, caulking guns, etc.).

Pay: From £16.50 per hour

Work Location: In person
