Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Support Worker to provide high-quality care and assistance to children and young people. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting their development, wellbeing, and daily activities within a caring and professional environment. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives while developing valuable skills in childcare and support services.

Responsibilities

Assist children with daily routines, including personal care, meal times, and activities
Support children in engaging with educational and recreational activities tailored to their individual needs
Implement and follow personalised care plans to promote development and wellbeing
Foster a safe, nurturing environment that encourages confidence and independence
Communicate effectively with children, families, and team members to ensure consistent support
Drive children to appointments or activities when required, ensuring safety at all times
Maintain accurate records of care provided and progress made
Contribute to team meetings and training sessions to enhance service quality

Requirements

Experience working with children or in childcare settings is desirable
Valid driving licence and ability to drive children safely when necessary
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work flexibly within a team environment
Good organisational skills with the ability to follow care plans accurately
Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
Compassionate, patient, and committed to supporting children's individual needs
Willingness to undertake relevant training programmes as required
