Full job description

Job Summary

Infinity Eng Ltd is seeking a self-employed SHEQ Advisor to support one of our clients across a range of UK-based projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced SHEQ professional looking to develop their experience within a practical, site-focused environment. A longer-term contract may be available for the right person.

Key responsibilities

Conduct site inspections, audits and compliance checks
Provide practical health, safety, environmental and quality advice
Support the preparation and review of RAMS
Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions
Maintain SHEQ records, reports and action trackers
Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings
Help ensure compliance with legislation, client procedures and site requirements
Work closely with site teams to promote a positive safety culture

Requirements

NEBOSH and/or IOSH qualification
Knowledge of UK health and safety legislation
Strong communication and report-writing skills
Confident working independently and engaging with site teams
Willingness to travel to projects across the UK
Full UK driving licence
Relevant CSCS card is desirable
Previous construction or utilities experience is desirable but not essential

Contract details

Self-employed contractor position
Outside IR35, subject to individual assessment and working arrangements
UK-wide travel
Competitive day rate, dependent on experience
Longer-term contract opportunity for the right person
