Full job description

Swim Teacher

Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified and passionate Swimming Teacher to teach at one of our Pop up Pools in Coventry or Wolverhampton for a 6 week period, with opportunity for further work throughout the summer holidays and further for the right candidate. The working hours will be Monday-Friday 8.30am and finish at 3.30pm on Mon and Fri, and 4.30pm Tue-Thu. We are looking for someone who will bring energy to the position and who enjoys working with children of varying primary school ages. We can promise that no two days will ever be the same - and we need individuals who are able to think on their feet in these situations.

We can offer fixed working hours, opportunity for further work within the company, paid courses and a friendly bunch of co workers with a supportive environment where you can make a difference to children's lives. Requirements:
Level 2 Award in Swimming

Minimum of 6 months experience in teaching swimming
Knowledge of swimming strokes, equipment (buoyancy devices, floatation devices, etc.)
Knowledge of safety procedures and emergency procedures.
Ability to work with students of all ages and ability to motivate students to perform at their highest level.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have reliable mobile phone and computer skills.

This position will be subject to satisfactory references and will also require an enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities:
Instructor must be available for the full duration of the 6 week teaching period.
