We have an exciting opportunity for a Health Club Manager to join our hotel, you will receive a competitive salary plus amazing benefits which include free onsite parking, free membership to our state-of-the-art gym and golf club, discounted food & beverage and discounted stays within the group.

As our Health Club Manager you will know and understand what it means to deliver amazing hospitality and will thrive on the challenge of always exceeding guest’s expectations. You will be expected to achieve a level of service through the constant monitoring of the clubs brand standards. As a result you should be highly attentive to detail and be capable of delivering consistent standards. You should have a warm, personable nature and a can do attitude. In this type of industry teamwork is key; you should be a strong team player willing to lend a hand wherever needed.

You must have experience in a similar environment with the knowledge and confidence to deliver the role described below combined with a passion for delivering exceptional service through your team.

As our Health Club Manager you will:

Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs at all times. Promoting a fun and relaxing atmosphere for all guests.
Responsible for the supervision & safety of guests and members of the Health Club & Spa in accordance with Company procedures and Health & Safety regulations.
Ensure that the reception desk is efficiently run, and that guest care & satisfaction are a focus throughout the shift.
Achieve set Revenue Targets for Business (e.g., conversion ratio) as agreed and set out in the Sales Activity Plan.
Organise and participate in Leisure & Spa Events at the venue.
Be responsible for updating and overseeing the production of all Leisure & Spa collateral.
Drive and retain eisure memberships, through consistent sales focus and a calendar of events.
Maintain and manage the Leisure and Spa diary ensuring all bookings are inputted directly upon receipt and updated when necessary.
Take enquiries and bookings for Spa in an efficient manner and encourage maximum sales revenue for the overall profitability of the hotel.
Ensure usage by members, guests and staff is properly controlled and efficiently recorded.
Sell and process Lesiure memberships along with promoting the clubs services.
Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities and activities.
Observe activity in the recreational facility and maintain poolside cover as appropriate during shift.
Develop classes and lessons throughout the Health Club in line with customer and member needs.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Managerial experience within the leisure and spa industry
Passion for health and fitness
Committed to delivering a high level of customer service and train others to follow a similar example
Have previous proven experience in a 4-star hotel or a similar high-quality environment

The Essential Skills:

Engaging and the ability to inspire
Has a passion and commitment to quality and customer service
Well organised and structured in your approach
Committed to develop and coach team members to excel

The Desirable Skills:

Confident personality with presence
Experience in personal training
Pool plant or Lifeguard qualification
Gym instructor level 2 or higher
