TSIT, headquartered in Hamburg in Germany, was founded in 2003 in the Hanseatic city and has developed over the years into an internationally active logistics company. Today, we offer a wide range of services in the areas of bonded warehousing, customs clearance, and storage and transport logistics. Our own bonded warehouses have a total storage area of 53,000 square meters and are located in Germany, Hungary, the Netherlands and UK.

We specialize in sustainable and future-oriented products, such as lithium batteries and solar cells. Some of our largest clients include Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Volkswagen. TSIT’s customs logistics business is continuously growing. With the company’s rapid expansion and in order to better serve our clients, we are inviting applications for the position of Logistics Operator in Coventry, United Kingdom, to strengthen our team.

Position: Logistics Operator
Location: Coventry, UK

Your Responsibilities:

Managed daily import and export shipments across air, sea and road freight services.Coordinated bookings with carriers, shipping lines and overseas agents.
Prepared and checked shipping documentation, customs paperwork and transport records.
Monitored shipment progress and provided regular updates to customers regarding delivery schedules and ETAs.
Liaised with warehouses, transport providers and customs brokers to ensure smooth cargo movement.
Resolved operational issues, delays and customer queries in a timely manner.
Maintained accurate records within transport management systems (TMS) and internal databases.
Assisted with freight quotations, invoicing and cost control activities.
Ensured compliance with company procedures, customs regulations and health & safety requirements.

Your Profile:

Successfully completed studies in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a comparable qualification.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in logistics operations.
Proficient in MS Office.
Resilient, highly motivated, proactive, and reliable.
Strong service orientation, self-motivated, team player, and highly cooperative.
Excellent English skills and fluent spoken and written Chinese for negotiations.
