Full job description

Weekend/Night Cleaner

Established in 2009, Ridleys Coaches operates a modern fleet of 60 coaches and 15 cars, delivering high-quality transport services across the UK. We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Night Cleaner / Shunter to join our team.

This role combines vehicle cleaning duties with depot shunting responsibilities, helping ensure our fleet is clean, organised, fuelled, and ready for service each morning.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning the interior of coaches to a high standard
Sweeping and mopping floors
Cleaning windows, seats, dashboards, and driver areas
Sanitising onboard toilet facilities
Carrying out detailed cleans on tour coaches to company standards
Moving and positioning coaches safely around the depot
Positioning vehicles for cleaning, fuelling, maintenance, and departures
Reporting any vehicle damage or defects
Ensuring the depot remains organised and operational throughout the night shift

A cleaning and vehicle movement schedule will be provided so you know exactly what vehicles need preparing and prioritising throughout the shift.

What We’re Looking For

Good attention to detail
Strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and alongside other cleaners or depot staff
Reliable and punctual attitude
Confidence working around large vehicles safely
Flexible approach to duties and working hours
Previous cleaning or vehicle shunting experience is preferred but not essential

Licence Requirements

A valid PCV licence is preferred but not essential for the right candidate

Pay & Hours

£13.00 Per Hour
Flexible working hours required
Opportunity for additional hours and weekend work when needed

Shift Pattern

Friday: 6:00 PM – Late
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 5:00 PM – Late
Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 5:00 PM – Late

Pay: £13.00 per hour
