Job Overview

We are looking for an organised and customer-focused Travel Operations Manager to oversee the smooth delivery of day-to-day travel operations. You’ll coordinate bookings, suppliers, itineraries, customer requests, and operational teams to ensure every trip is delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

This is an excellent opportunity for a travel professional with strong organisational and problem-solving skills who enjoys coordinating people, suppliers, and travel services in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily travel operations, including bookings, itineraries, transfers, accommodation, and travel services.
Coordinate with airlines, hotels, transport providers, tour operators, and other travel partners.
Monitor bookings and resolve schedule changes, cancellations, customer issues, and operational disruptions.
Support and guide travel operations staff to ensure accurate and timely service delivery.
Monitor supplier performance, costs, service quality, and operational standards.
Identify opportunities to improve travel processes, customer experience, efficiency, and service quality.

Qualifications

Previous experience in travel operations, tourism, hospitality, or a similar customer-focused operational role.
Strong knowledge of travel bookings, itineraries, suppliers, and travel service coordination.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines.
Strong communication and negotiation skills when working with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
Confident using booking platforms, Microsoft Office, email, and other travel or business systems.
Practical, customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: £40,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
