We are seeking to appoint Registered Nurse Vaccinators to join our Occupational Health team, supporting the delivery of a comprehensive immunisation service for healthcare staff and students. The team plays a vital role in ensuring students meet the necessary health requirements for clinical placements, contributing to safe practice within healthcare settings.
As a Registered Nurse Vaccinator, you will be responsible for delivering a safe and effective vaccination programme in line with national immunisation guidance and Occupational Health requirements. Working closely with the Clinical Lead and wider team, you will assess immunisation records, preplacement records, identify gaps, and provide clinical advice and vaccinations to students. You will also support the planning and delivery of clinics, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with cold chain and clinical governance standards.
Registered with the NMC, you will maintain current clinical competence and up-to-date knowledge of pre-placement and immunisation practices. With experience in vaccination delivery, you will be confident in assessing suitability for vaccination, managing adverse reactions, and providing clear clinical guidance. Strong communication and organisational skills and attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively and contribute flexibly during peak service periods.
