Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 30–35 hours per week

Salary: £37,000 – £50,000 per year (depending on skills and experience) + Bonus

Location: Based in Sunderland (managing our Sunderland & Houghton-le-Spring practices)

About the Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to take their career within the dental sector to the next level. We are seeking a friendly, passionate, and enthusiastic Dental Practice Manager to join our team. You will be based at our Sunderland practice for the majority of your time, taking the lead on managing operations there alongside our sister practice in Houghton-le-Spring.

We are looking for the right person who truly enjoys what they do, thrives on professional challenges, and is motivated to make a positive difference in the lives of our staff and patients. As this is a key leadership position, you must possess exceptional people skills and a supportive, engaging management style. We are looking for an individual seeking a stable, long-term role where they can grow alongside our practices.

Key Responsibilities

You will take ownership of the day-to-day running of the practices, confidently managing areas such as:

Compliance & Safety: CQC management, Health & Safety, and Infection Control.
Team & Patient Care: Staff management, treatment coordination, and complaint handling.
Operations: Effective diary management and meticulous record-keeping.
Business Growth: Basic finance and local marketing initiatives.

Requirements

Industry Experience: Previous experience within the dental sector is required.
Management Experience: Prior management experience within dental is highly preferred, though we will consider applicants with substantial, proven management experience within other closely related healthcare sectors.
Skills: Strong financial and business acumen is desirable, though bespoke training will be provided for the successful candidate.
