Full job description

The Accounts Payables are responsible for ensuring that the suppliers invoices are posted, paid and that queries are dealt with in a timely manner Key Responsibilities: • Posting all invoices for your suppliers via purchase order or manually • Dealing with queries from both the Business and suppliers via email or Procure Wizard, resolving them in a timely manner • Creating and maintaining a good working relationship with both the suppliers and other members of staff • Requesting statements from your suppliers and reconciling supplier accounts on a fortnightly basis in preparation for the payment run • Manually establishing the Rebate taken for our PSL listing, using the data from the reconciliation • Creating Remits from the system to send to the suppliers as and when required • Train new starters as and when required • Checking One Time Vendor invoices that have been processed to ensure bank accounts have been accurately posted • Obtaining VAT invoices for Pro-forma invoices to ensure processed with the correct Reference and VAT element • Be responsible for the full maintenance of your supplier accounts, to include notifying the relevant people of vendor set up or changing account details • Be responsible for archiving all posted invoices on a daily basis • Be responsible for dealing with the incoming post on a daily basis, so that invoices can be processed without delay • Ensure that all deadlines set by the AP Manager are met Essential Criteria: • Experience in a similar role • Good communication skills both written and verbal • Excellent attention to detail, organised and can work to strict deadlines • Computer literate • Very good IT skills in Microsoft Office • Working knowledge of SAP/AP & Procure Wizard (preferred not essential) Some of the perks our Accounts Payable Clerk could enjoy include:
