Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Window Blind Fitter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately measuring, installing, and adjusting a variety of window coverings to enhance the aesthetic and functional qualities of residential and commercial spaces. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about craftsmanship, precision work, and delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Measure window spaces accurately to determine the correct size and type of blinds or shades needed
Install a variety of window coverings using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques
Adjust and secure fittings to ensure smooth operation and optimal appearance
Collaborate with clients to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on product selection
Follow schematics, technical drawings, and installation instructions precisely
Maintain a clean and safe work environment during and after installations
Conduct routine inspections to ensure ongoing functionality and safety of installed window coverings

Skills

Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment used in installation processes
Experience with roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems or related construction skills is a plus
Knowledge of schematics, construction painting, masonry, carpentry, plastering, and general construction experience enhances performance
Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
Strong problem-solving skills to adapt installations based on site conditions
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients
Familiarity with safety protocols related to construction sites and installation procedures
