About the role

The apprentice will work as part of a selection of teams focused on commercial activities within a Pre and or Post sale activity. All activitities are either focused on customer service and or a sales supporting function,

These will include but not be limted to items such as processing customer orders, field service contracts or quotations

The apprentice will work with and learn from multiple stakeholders and teams across the business in order to gain a well rounded experience and knowledge of commercial aspects within the business.

Specific tasks will include but not be limited to:

Telephone customer enquiry handling including but not limited to order progress, lead times and pricing.
Providing a high level of customer service through ensuring a timely and efficient processing of customer requests.
Customer issue escalation and resolution
Data entry into respective systems including but not limited to SAP, CRM and SharePoint for items such as orders, quotations, customer returns and field service contracts
Focus on logistic operations in terms of invoice control and accuracy through review of receipted request and orders.
Delivery of objectives as agreed with line manager
Undergo necessary training in order to fulfill all duties
Participation in departmental projects focused on continual improvement

The Commercial Operations department consists of approximately 25 members.

The role will be working within a fast-paced customer service environment comprising of various teams including but not limited to Customer Management, Technical Support, Order Processing and Field Service Administration.

Role Requirements

Education/Qualifications

GCSE Grade 4 or above in English, Science and Mathematics
